Born in Jakarta and raised in Singapore, Vanessa Guinadi is a coloratura soprano and performer known for her imaginative voice and deep musical instinct.
Vanessa’s performances take audiences along in the wild feast of voice, body and performance. From premiering new opera as the Poes in Mispoes with Holland Opera (NL), to performing with contemporary dance and choral group CHOREOS (DE), to lutesong in St. Martin-in-the-Fields, she collaborates with groups that marry music-making and play.
She is also active as a co-creator and performance maker.
